BUSINESS DONE WITH EXCELLENCE MATTERS TO US
When I was about 8 years old I had a great interest in television and radio. I wondered how do those images on the television get there along with radio as well. I saved up bought a still photo camera and started taking photos and writing about the pictures I had taken. At the age of 13 I had the opportunity to be on the school Audio Visual crew. The school had just bought a Video Recorder it came with aBlack & White camera and a VTR that had 3"tape that lasted only 30 minutes. I knew that I had to learn this stuff because my passion with this equipment was great. I video taped all the football, basketball, tennis matches, and track events. I then would take and edit them showe them to the coaches. Then technology advanced through the 70's, 80's at this time I bought my first video camera, Yes the ones that weighed over a 100 lbs. I got a invite to cover the 1980 hydroplane races on Lake Washington. I decided to do a "behind the scenes" video, and Seafair and lots of people bought the video that I produced. In the 90's to 2007 I produced a Live show on Public Access and learned a lot about producing, writing, editing, lighting, camera placement just to name a few aspects of broadcasting. I worked at a regular job and on the side started a part time business videoing weddings, birthday parties, and anniversary. At the suggestion of friends I turned SOLID VIDEO PRODUCTIONS into a full time business.
